Pravina Govender (Founding Director)
Pravina Govender qualified with a BA(LAW) and LLB degree and is a practicing Attorney for THIRTY (30)years. In addition, Pravina is also a qualified Conveyancer, Land Claims Specialist, Accredited Land Mediator and Notary Public.
Pravina is a senior, highly skilled and dedicated attorney with extensive experience in various facets of the law and is known for providing insightful legal advice, strategic advocacy and effective representation in legal matters. With a commitment to justice and client-focused solutions, Pravina has built a reputation as a trusted legal professional within the legal fraternity.
Pravina Govender has also served as a Regional Executive Director on various boards in South Africa and has chaired incident investigations and also served on the appeals board for one of the leading Corporate entities in South Africa. Pravina Govender, in addition, serves on the Appeals Committee of the Regulatory Body.
Karina Beeky (Director)
With over 15 years of experience in the legal field, Karina Beeky has become a trusted name in the South African legal landscape. Her career journey began at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where she completed her LLB and graduated with distinction. She served her articles at Legal Aid South Africa and joined Pravina Govender Attorneys in 2014 and was appointed as Director in 2021. Since then, she has been committed to serving her clients with integrity, diligence, and a passion for justice.Karina specializes in criminal and civil litigation, handling cases that require meticulous attention to detail and strategic thinking. Her focus on litigation allows her to tackle both criminal and civil matters with the expertise and precision required to navigate the South African legal system.

Kamalan Padayachee (Associate Attorney)
Kamalan obtained his LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2018 and went on to complete his LLM in Constitutional Theory, Law and Litigation at the same institution in 2021. He completed the School of Legal Practice in 2019 and served his articles at a law firm in Durban, culminating in his admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2023.
Kamalan joined Pravina Govender Attorneys in August 2024, where he practices as a Legal Practitioner with a focus on litigation and legal research. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for justice, he is committed to delivering principled, thorough, well researched and effective legal representation.
